Yea, I felt that it was time for me to upload a new Icon. Its mama Condie. My fav HS cosplay to do.

Katsucon was about 2 weeks ago, and I always write a Katsu review (mostly for my self) to remember all the cool things that happend to me. Basically like a diary entry. I dont expect any of you to read all of this. But here we go:


Friday
We arrived at a very decent time at the con. Me and my two other friends went straight up to our rooms at the Gaylord and I immediately changed into into my Hannah Anafeloz cosplay. We walked around downstairs for a bit to take some photos of my cosplay (fail) ended up going right back upstairs to change into our fancy wear for the Formal Ball. I dressed up as Promstuck Jane Crocker. My friend was dressed as Promstuck Roxy Lalonde and was Promstuck Jade Harely. We got our badges and then went straight to the ball. We danced and I ran into my friend Jackie and it as great! My Jade was such a nice dancer squee. The ball ended and we walked around for a bit more. I was on a desperate mission to find my tumblr senpais. I drew pictures for each and every one of them and wanted to express my undying love for them. I was so happy to have found 2 of them on friday (sometimes I cant recognize them when they are in their cosplay) I gave both of them their presents and I hoped they liked them. I assume they did! I went off sparkling to myself. Got some ice cream, handed out some more prints I made to give to pretty cosplayers, and some valentines day cookies. (I ended up dropping the can on the floor regrettably) and basically went to bed early to get up for Saturday morn.

Saturday
I got up first of course and began my troll makeup. I had to help my friend because she's not use to Ben Nye products overall. She ended up cosplaying Fem Kankri Vantas. wasn't trollin with us today or at all this weekend she didn't feel like it. Thats cool. I got all Mama Condesce'd up and felt fabulous. Glued my two trident ends together and ended up doing the rest of Kankri's makeup. Me and my Kankri ended up parting ways with my other friend because she had other stuff to do, so we went to go toward the 12 noon photoshoot. We came early so I started a photo assignment I had. I began photographing some cosplayers, and found another tumblr senpai. We had an ever so slight twerk battle because we were both dressed as Fuchsia empress babes. Lily is a lovely cosplayer and overall lovely human being. (asktheheiress blog). I sat on the bench with Kankri and did some Nicki Manaj Raps to get more into character. That was fun. The photoshoot location ended up moving twice. In that moving time I ended up running into a friend I met back at Otakon. The Sassy Signless. I wanted to scream because I just love that guy way too much. He was cosplaying DerseDreamer Dave but I just ugh. I love that guy. I didn't talk to him as much as I would have liked to, which is disappointing, but running into him was a huge day brightener. We ended up outside for the shoot and it was VERY VERY cold. I couldn't take it. I asked tumblr users weeks in advance to help with a photo assignment, which was to be located outside, but it was so ridiculously cold outside. I got SOME photos which was great, but overall I ended up inside looking out waiting for my turn at the photoshoot. I brought some BLIND contacts from Exotic Lenses and headed up to change into my Porrim Cosplay. On the way up we ran into a Karkat cosplayer (very tall) whom I recognized. We chatted for a bit and ended up having a Rap Battle in an elevator and it was amazing. I changed into Porrim and got some Pizza and regrouped with my other friend to attend the Masquerade. Went to that. Got some quick shots of my Porrim cosplay and went back up to wash off for the Draw Party. We all changed into PJstuck and ran to the draw party. I handed out the rest of my Prints, some candies and it was chill. I danced with a Latula cosplayer (shes so cute), and the night ended.

Sunday:
Everyones pooped by now but I forced everyone to get up their lazy butts because last con day! OH NO! Get yo asses up. I dressed up as Loli Jane, my other two friends were too lazy to be anyone and we finished the day by walking around doing nothing. Went to artist alley and brought some things there, ran into final friends, and shoved baggage into bellhop services. I walked around alone for a bit took some last minute shots of cosplayers, and went home.


Overall: Great as always. Was not as great as last years Katsu, but it was still 100% fun. I'm glad I went. I ended up spending too much money between room cost and food about $500. Since my friends couldn't pay and went for free. But I'm not mad. I wished I could've gotten more photos of my cosplay like I did at AUSA, but theres always next con. I didn't meet too many new people, but the ones I did meet are 100% quality. I did get some gorgeous prints from the Draw Party. My only worry is that if my friends had fun or not. They always seemed like they were bored. I'm starting to feel pretty lonely at cons now. I dont think they're very into it anymore. Maybe I should hang with different friends at cons now? Problems is I dont have many friends, and I WANT to hang out with the people I do now, but idk. Blah. KATSUCON 2013= SUCESS!!!
